Great book. I've gone through about four in the last month that were not well written. I'm like a lot of other people and wanted "a book like Fifty Shades..." and have been really disappointed.
This is the second book that I've read since "the trilogy" that has kept my attention, was very well written and the characters have stayed with me. I didn't know this was a "period novel" when I purchased it, or else I never would have, but I'm so glad I did.
If you are like me and want books written in present time, please take a chance on this one like I did. You really won't be sorry. This book is detailed, not over-the-top, passionate ... a real love story that's an erotic read as well. The other good book I read was Sylvia Day also and that one was "Bared to You" which I also highly recommend.
