I wish there was a 4.5, but I had to go 4.0. I may change it to a 5.0 since I'm leaning on a 4.6!
I don't know how she does it ... she entangles everything, you think you've seen the twist (or two!) I mean, there's no way the book could end any other way, it would be far too reaching. But then...she does. And she is a master at not just the twists, but at tying everything together in a way that you actually think, "Oh yeah, well of course."
I love reading Sandra Brown at the gym. No other author consistently gets me excited enough to know what happens next to get me to my workout. That being said, I ONLY read Sandra Brown when I'm at the gym. Only.
The Alibi was a great plot, all twisty and turny. I love her main male/female characters every time almost immediately. They are people you like. Alex Ladd, beautiful and brilliant doctor with a dark past. And Hammond Cross, a lawyer with the D.A.'s office who is just SO good. You root for them the whole time even when they have moral lapses or their character is a little shady.
Great job!
